What To Look Out For When It Comes To Sugar!
There have been studies done that show sugar can contribute to premature skin gaining & inflammation by a process called glycation. Glycation? Yes, interesting word right! It is, "the reaction between reducing sugar and proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, wherein reactive carbonyl groups of a reducing sugar react with free amino groups of proteins to form an unstable Schiff base." What does that mean? Collagen that has now become rigid loses its ability to keep the skin firm & eventually causes us to look older than we are. You get the gist.
"Remember, everything in moderation. "
We learn & understand that that are many factors that can lead to aging skin like stress & the environment so regardless of the business that you are in remember to rest, mind what you eat, dress right in extreme weathers & stay fit!
